Dr. Wilson is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has completed extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, and gallbladder. He has been in private practice since 1985 and with Digestive Disease Specialists, Inc., since 1994. Dr. Wilson is widely respected in his field.
A native of Miami, Oklahoma, Dr. Wilson received both his undergraduate degree and medical degrees from the University of Oklahoma, graduating with honors. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and his Clinical Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Dr. Wilson is a member of several professional associations including the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the Arkansas/Oklahoma Endoscopy Society, and the American and Oklahoma Medical Association. He is past president of the Oklahoma County Medical Society and is a trustee of the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
